There is a new song (new to me anyway) It fits, here is the chorus:
I've talked to friends
I've talked to myself
I've talked to God
I prayed liked hell but I still miss you
I tried sober I tried drinking
I've been strong and I've been weak
and I still miss you
I've done everything to move on like I'm supposed to
I'd give anything for one more minute with you
I still miss you
It is exactly how I feel. There are some days that I think I will never be okay.
Love you girls

Funny you posted those lyrics; I think the same thing when I think about Granddaddy. I think it may get easier with time, but I think it'll only because we will be able to cope with it better, not that it will go away or we will think of it less.
oh my!!!! (((hugs)))) my dear friend... I am here for you.. and i felt the same in losing my dad.. but I know it has to be much harder to losing a child and Grand Child... Please know I pray and care for y9ou so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love for you is sent always... May He hold you in His arms and continue to comfort you.
(((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))
Don't feel like you are taking too long, take as long as you feel. How's that for twisted logic. Just remember it will not mean you love them less when you are able to move on a little bit more. They would want you to be happy.
You spread your good heartedness around and leave a little of their spirit every where you go. Many hugs to you sweet person.
Hi Mrs. Bryant.. at least thats how I remember you. This is Amy Fleming. I was a student of yours a few years back. You were by far my favorite teacher at Lee... I just loved you! I lost my grandma to a really tragic death back in 2004 and I still miss her too. Some days it encompasses my whole day still. I know how it feels to miss someone so much. You are in my thoughts an prayers! :-) God Bless!
Amy, How wonderful to hear from you! I would love to hear about how you are doing. Take care!
Hey Mrs. Bryant. I am doing really well. I am living in Austin with my fiance. We are getting married October 17, 2009 here. I'm very excited! His name is Brett Miller, he graduated Lee in 2001. He was also my neighbor growing up.. kinda funny :). I have taken some time off from school(even though I have 70+ hours) but I am wanting to go back and be a school counselor. It is so good to hear from you. I'm glad I found your blog. God Bless!:-)
